There are many realms out there, which you can access via teleportation, but you must have their Realm Key to open a door there! To obtain said key, you must take your chances with Truffle¢s Mysterious Realm Key or realm hop (by completing a General Realm Quest) with someone who already has access in an attempt to get your own.

Each individual Lythian may choose one starter Realm by going to their profile page.

Realm Keys are displayed on the Lythian¢s profile, to show off which realms they have access to. Various keys may unlock access to other features just by obtaining them (eg, visiting certain shops) or once you¢ve increased your Key Mastery (eg, setting up a guild).
Note: Some of these features are currently openly available (such as guilds), but will be moved behind realm requirements in the future. A warning will be posted prior to this change, to give time to unlock said realms.

At the moment, the 3 realms released are the 3 starter realms, but more are waiting in the wings to be discovered soon!

Each Realm has a series of quests in two categories, which tell a story about the location, or are simply related prompts. Please enjoy exploring the realms!

Regarding upcoming planned compensation for relevant system changes:
Compensation will be dispersed for previously-earned passports (and said passports will be removed from profiles at the same time). The intended compensation is: 1 Mysterious Realm Key item per passport owned by an individual's currently-owned characters.
Compensation will be dispersed for adaptation tickets (ticket items will be removed from inventories at the same time). The intended compensation is: Loonoles equal to the previous shop prices of the items (200/500/1000 Loonoles for rarity 1/2/3 selection tickets, respectively; and 100/250/500 Loonoles for rarity 1/2/3 random tickets, respectively).

The intended timeline is for the compensation to be dispersed and completed by Monday or Tuesday of this coming week (August 31st/September 1st). Thank you for your patience!

Good evening, CE players!

We are excited to announce some new additions to our Celestial Equine staff, along with a bit of restructuring of our staff team. To kick off this announcement, we are thrilled to announce the return of our head moderator, Jericho! Jericho has been with the game since 2017, shortly after the live reopening. During this time she has been vital in creating the bones of our community guidelines, our help section, and lead the moderation of our Forums and Discord chats. Jericho is resuming this head position, and is a great addition to our close-knit team! Ellastasia remains our head artist and administrative assistant. Desideria also remains as a second-in-charge member of the moderation team, along with being a recolor artist/overall troubleshooter. In addition to the players mentioned above, we are excited to announce the addition of Moonstorm to our troubleshooting/mini-moderation staff team! Moonstorm will serve as a moderator for our wonderful players in opposite timezones, and also assists with administrative tasks to help the game run smoothly. I am eternally grateful for our fantastic staff team as they play a vital role in the growth and success of Celestial Equine!

Onto new releases! We have some very exciting development updates to share with everyone. As of Sunday, we have enabled our new item cycling feature to keep the market shops and cash shop fresh! We now have the ability to mark items as "standard" with a bi-weekly stocking rate, monthly (stocked during a preset month only), and seasonal (only stocked during certain seasons). Our goal with this new cycling feature is to keep the shops stocked with fresh items, and also add a little bit of exclusivity to our growing CE gene pool. To kick off this fantastic feature, we will be blasting everyone with 120 brand-new magic shop genes! These genes include body colors, matching mane/tail sets, wings, horns, and body markings. This will give you a taste of our new method of handling monthly themes and seasonal themes. We will also trickle in some beautiful seasonal genes along with our monthly releases! In addition to our pending gene releases, we also have a plethora of new wearables for you all to play with! These will follow our September "Moroccan Rune" theme, which is one of my favorite themes yet! Our September releases will become available September 1st, as we are pre-loading these items into our database to build up for a big blast of new items. In addition to the market shops updating, our Cash Shop will automatically update as well with new items.

Next up, development! We officially have modifications to the trading post (canceling trade offers and gift offers), revision of the retirement feature, the addition of cool-down text from the barn view, forum modifications, auction house pagination bug, and a special area for private gene owners to generate additional quantity of their gene changing items. These tweaks have been highly requested and should be completed by next Friday! Following the completion of this update, we will resume the development of Celestial Alliances! Though we are keeping this area highly secretive for the time being, I will tease with one hint; character interaction. For those of you following the lore, get ready for a ton of FUN and even more activities to do with your horses!

Lastly, we would like to wrap up this news post with an update to our site-wide rules, specifically regarding player interaction. These updated rules can be found here. Additionally, please be aware these rule updates are effective as of now, along with the listed moderation guidelines regarding community consequences. Lyara, the deity of fertility, has many different physical forms. This is because they take on the form of someone you consider family, which is different for every Lythian; this also means that they can appear to a single individual in a multitude of ways, if they have a large family. The one constant about Lyara is their halo, which floats above them throughout all iterations. They are also one of the more active deities in that Lythians have a very good chance of interacting with them. This is because, once a year, they travel across all the realms of Lyth to offer everyone a chance to have a very specific blessing granted: an offspring.

Lyara¢s blessings are offspring!

This deity sometimes takes the physical characteristics of two Lythians and blends them into a new being, one that is young and new to the world, before depositing them¢¦ somewhere. They may or may not require a guardian to watch over them, depending on their individual personalities, so many things come with the roll of a dice. In fact, Lyara will sometimes just create one from scratch, or even gift an offspring to unsuspecting Lythians!

What this means is that Lythians do not have to do anything physical or even be in a relationship to be blessed with an offspring; all babies are basically created out of thin air by the deity. So you are free to a wide range of backstories on how family dynamics ¢ or lack thereof ¢ come to be!

To receive an offspring, fill out this form by August 31st, 2020 @ 23:59:59.
(There are additional guidelines in it, so please read carefully.)

Offspring currently cannot be grown just yet. We plan on releasing quests and origin tales that are unique to each species which, upon completion, will allow you to submit an adult design for any baby designs you already own or will receive from this event. Hello! We've started rolling out some updates to playable species information today, following the recent Realm overhaul announcements, and in preparation for the baby breeding event coming soon!

The following species have already had their information updated, and the remaining species will be updated shortly: Axomaurs, Chuikhas, Flytes, Gryfons, Haenyms, Igalyphs, Kella Ser, Kuniklovs, and Lagunas

The above species have received updates across the board, and had baby information added. These pages also reference "Origin Story Quests" however those quests are not yet available, but are coming soon!

A "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ) section appears on some species pages, where there may be extra relevant questions or information available.

The Location and Story tabs have been removed, in favor of the lore to be provided in upcoming Origin Story Quests.

Haenyms now reference "sects" rather than subspecies. The ability to change this at-will, as mentioned in their FAQ, will be added soon.

Lastly, Sheceans have been changed from a standalone species to a subspecies of Laguna.
To elaborate on this decision:
We wanted to establish their intelligence and reasoning ability to be equal of that of any other species, and additionally we did not necessarily feel that Sheceans had enough of their own species identity to separate them from Lagunas completely. We do not take the decision to combine/"remove" a species lightly, but feel this is the best course of action moving forward for Sheceans in particular.

Regarding existing Sheceans:
Existing Sheceans will have their masterlist and IDs updated to "Laguna - LA##" and have the "Shecean" subspecies added to them (this also means their profile URL will change to the new "LA##" ID). If you own an existing Shecean, you do not need to redesign them and can continue using them with their designs as-is.

As referenced in the updated Laguna species information page, Shecean subspecies Lagunas retain their shell-like sensors and extra limbs, and thus do not need to physically change at all. However, you are also allowed to submit an update to them for free with the new information in mind, if you would like to do so.

The change to existing Shecean masterlist entries will occur next week, to provide time for this information to be seen.

At this time, we do not plan to combine or remove any other species; this change is exclusive to Sheceans/Lagunas.
